We have a very special guest joining us on the Saturday of the Festival, you may have seen him around the town and he especially loved a cosy spot outside the The Record Store in Park Mall…

Yes…… 2 Tone Ska Dog one of the original Snowdogs with his unique artwork, who was displayed as part of Snowdogs Discover Ashford between 12 September and 18 November 2018 will be joining us!

Created by artist John Sims (aka Teflon) he is based on John’s design connections with the 2 Tone record label. Helped by friend and artist/sculptor Mark Sutherland, they created and attached a fibreglass pork pie hat and sunglasses to reflect the famous graphic style of 2 Tone. The Snowdogs were sold at a gala auction on 3 December 2018 which on the night raised an amazing £142,000 in aid of Pilgims Hospices.

In 2019, the 40th anniversary year of the founding of the 2 Tone record label, 2 Tone Ska Dog will be making a number of public appearances to give fans the opportunity to have their photograph taken with him, thanks to Chris and wife Gina who gave 2 Tone a home, he will continue to help raise money for good causes.

If you have you already had your photo taken with 2 Tone Ska Dog, Chris and Gina would love to see your pictures on the 2 Tone Ska Dog page…and if you have not met him yet, come and join us at the Festival!
