Back for this years event, is friends of the Festival┬áStella n’ The Loft

If you have not caught them in action locally, then this is a perfect opportunity! Let’s find out more about this great band..

“We are husband and wife, Stella and Jim Loftus who started performing as an acoustic duo in 2014. Stella is lead vocalist and percussionist and Jim guitarist, backing vocalist and harmonica player. We perform a wide range of covers as well as writing and performing our own material.

After performing as an acoustic duo for a couple of years, we expanded and formed a 5 piece band with lead guitarist Rob Brown, bassist Sarah Pinkstone, and recorded our first EP Journeys at Anchor Baby Recording Studios with drummer Gordon Stone. Our first EP features 4 original tracks – Small Town, Hole in the Ground, Indian Summer and Arthur and Dave all written by Stella and Jim and was released in November 2016.

Dominic Stone joined us last year and has played both bass and drums in the band. 2019 will see him playing keyboard which will give the band a whole new dimension

We returned to Anchor Baby Recording Studios in 2018 recording our second EP, What would you say…? which was released on 17th November. This features 5 original tracks – Punting, Dragonfly, Festival, Resolution 33 and In my life and sees Dominic on bass and organ, Gordon drums, Rob lead guitar, Jim guitar, harmonica and backing vocal and Stella lead vocal, backing vocal and percussion.
